

Gallup-McKinley County Schools is excited to kick off another year of learning, growth, and community.
Students, we can't wait to see you on August 5th for the first day of school!
Before that, we're welcoming our staff back: 194-day staff return on August 3rd, and 192-day staff return on August 4th. We're glad to have you back and ready to make this year a great one for our students.

As a friendly reminder, Open House is Tuesday, August 4 from 5-6 PM in the David Skeet Gym. Come meet the admin team and staff! Grab some food and drinks. See you there!



Lastly, the first day of school is August 5. Student drop-offs begin at 7:30 AM (Monday-Thursday) and 7:15 AM (Friday). Students will start with morning recess everyday. Dismissal is 2:50 (Monday-Thursday) and 1:30 PM (Friday).
